They are compact and ruggedly constructed units that are well suited for externally mounting level switches on a tank or pressure vessel. The size of the Model C80 external cages allows closer spacing of multiple switches on a bridles assembly which can reduce the number of connections required on a vessel.
K-Dyne offers a wide range of mounting and port configurations to meet almost any vessel requirement for working pressures up to ANSI 900. Materials of construction range from PVC to 316 stainless steel to satisfy the most demanding operating environments. The standard Model C80 external cage offers 1" NPT process ports and wrought steel construction which provides ease of installation with reliability of operation.
Special Features
- Constructed of wrought carbon steel, no welding
- Process ports are located at the optimum point on the body to provide "no-clog" operation typical with dirty process fluids
- Compact size of cage allows closer spacing of multiple switches on external bridles
- Design allows process connections from 1" NPT to 4" butt welded
